Mosquitos!

So, the water bill came today, and it is for billing period June 01 to July 31.  The pool was filled the second week of June, and I figured we'd see a HUGE water bill.  Guess what?!  It cost roughly $6.50 to fill the pool (16 ft in diameter by 42" tall).  I am thrilled, because, well, did you read that it cost $6.50?!  NOT $650.00!

The Sponges (kids) are THRILLED that the pool has finally warmed to a "balmy" 78 degrees (brrrrrrrrr!), but cool water doesn't stop the fun for kids on a warm Summer day, right? 
 
In honor of our low water bill, I am posting our first FREEBIE!  (You will soon learn it takes VERY little to put me in a GREAT give-away mood...tee hee hee). 

This cutie is to remind us all that although the pool is a lot of fun, once the pool is out of the path of the sun, the mosquitos come to swim. 
Note to self:  Take one for the team tomorrow; go shopping and be sure to come home with bug spray.  (Michaels and JoAnn's carries bug spray in the Crafting aisles, right?)
